Clear Java Cache

Clear java cache using the java control panel - steps are documented here.

Alternatively, the cache can be cleared using the following command:

javaws -Xclearcache -silent -Xnosplash


Clear Browser Cache

Proxy Settings

If you are connecting to the Valdi Trader Lite Web Server using a proxy, the settings can be found here:

  1. Go to Internet Options using the Tools menu



  2. Navigate to Connection tab



  3. Click on "LAN Settings", check the "Proxy Server" checkbox then put your proxy IP address and port. Please contact your network administrator for this information.




Console Log

The Java console log can be found using these steps:

  1. Go to the taskbar and right click on the Java icon Java Console Panel



  2. Then click on "Open 1.6.0_xx Console", the java console will be shown per user request



The console can be configured to automatically open each time Valdi Trader Lite is accessed (if required):

  1. Go to Java Console Panel



  2. Go to Advanced tab



  3. Click the plus sign next to Java console and select Show console




Log Files

Log files are written on the trader's local machine here: %USERPROFILE%/TraderLiteLogs

e.g. Windows 7 - C:\Users\[windows username]\TraderLiteLogs
